A 13-year-old Pennsylvania boy who was shot in the eye with a BB gun lost his left eye as a result.
Jayden McNab, of Jeannette, said he was shot in the eye on June 9 while he was on his front porch with friends.
McNab says a car pulled up with three people inside, then left. When the car returned, he saw the occupants had two BB guns.
He spent 10 days in Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where doctors removed his left eye. Because of the infection, he is also in danger of losing his right eye.
Melissa Forsythe, McNab’s mother, said they have contacted Jeannette police multiple times, but “it just feels like there’s no justice yet.”
“I just want him to do the time because now I have to live the rest of my life with one eye,” said McNab.
Police said they are investigating and interviewing witnesses.
