Coastal Carolina wins 2016 College World Series over Arizona –

Thursday, June 30th, 2016:

Severe weather in Omaha, Nebraska caused Game Three of the College World Series to be postponed from its original Wednesday night start time. Fortunately, for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, it did not wash away their chance at history as they were able to win the school’s first national championship in any sport on Thursday afternoon with a 4-3 victory over the Arizona Wildcats. The highest – and lowest – paid teaching areas in England revealed –

Camden’s teachers are the best paid in England with average pay at one school £15,000 higher than the national average. Figures from the Department for Education ’s School Workforce survey for 2015 have revealed the average salaries of teachers in all areas of the country. According to the data teachers in Camden earn an average of £44,758 across all school types compared to a national average of £34,600. This was the highest figure for any local authority area in the country.
