Abraham Saucedo of Santa Ana has been elected president of the Orange Empire Chapter of the International Association of Workforce Professionals. IAWP is a nonprofit membership organization representing 5,000 professionals worldwide who work in public and private workforce development programs. Saucedo works in a public service office in Anaheim.
Ann Gamerl, a Laguna Beach resident, is joining Illinois-based Harting Americas team as director of sales for its Western division. Gamerl’s also will be responsible for the company sales in Mexico. Harting is a manufacturer of electronic and network components.
Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, a nonprofit oral health provider for children, announced the addition of three new board members: Karen Tan of Edwards Lifesciences, will offer financial advice and strategy; Tom Clark, founder of Banyan, a healthcare marketing firm for dentists and healthcare professionals; Dr. Ligia Hallstrom, principal of Wilson Elementary, brings insight into staff development, project-based learning, and data analysis.
Carla Furuno, senior vice president and manager of City National Bank’s Orange County’s Private Banking Division, has joined the Barclay’s Theatre’s board of directors.
