The iPhone X is out now, and Apple have given a helpful guided tour on YouTube

The has been out for a week now, with Apple fans at last able to get their hands on the Cupertino’s firm vision of the smartphone’s future.

And for those left wondering how to use the iPhone X’s new features, Apple have published a helpful guided tour video.

In the YouTube clip, the tech giant gave a walkthrough for how to use the new gestures, Face ID and Animojis on the futuristic smartphone.

Express.co.uk has rounded up all you need to know about the new features in the iPhone X, and how to use them.

APPLE iPHONE X – HOW TO USE NEW GESTURES

Apple got rid of the traditional home button so the iPhone X could have a dazzling Retina HD display that takes up almost the entirety of the front.

The functions of the Home Button has now been replaced by a series of gestures users have to perform on the screen.

If you want to access the home screen from any app, all you have to do is swipe up.

And if you’re looking to see all the apps you have open, you need to swipe from the bottom of the iPhone X and then pause.

You can then swipe left and right to move between all the apps you have open on the iPhone X.

If you want to quickly move between apps, you can also swipe left and right at the bottom of the screen to move between all the apps open.

To access the Control Centre, you need to swipe down from the top right hand side of the iPhone X screen.

Once in the Control Centre, press firmly on the different widgets to access 3D touch features.

You can dismiss Control Centre simply by swiping up after you’ve finished using it.

To see all your notifications, like you would on other iPhones, all you need to is swipe down from the top of the screen.

Swipe right to see your widgets or left to quickly access the iPhone X’s awesome camera.
