Recaps for the Seattle Mariners top affiliates for Tuesday provided by team releases and wire reports.

Nashville 6, Tacoma (AAA) 3 (10)

TACOMA, Wash. – Kenny Wilson hit a two-run single in the top of the 10th inning to help lead the Nashville Sounds (55-60) to a 6-3 win over the Tacoma Rainiers (57-59) on Tuesday.

The single by Wilson scored Yairo Munoz and Matt McBride. The single came after an RBI double by Joey Wendle that gave the Sounds the lead earlier in the inning.

After Tacoma’s Taylor Motter hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth, Nashville tied the game 3-3 in the next half-inning when Wilson drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Chris Carter.

Wendle homered and doubled in the win.

Raul Alcantara (1-2) got the win with two innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Chris Castellanos (0-1) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.

Arkansas (AA) 11, Frisco 2

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Ryan Casteel homered, doubled and singled, scoring three runs while driving in two as the Arkansas Travelers (52-63) beat the Frisco RoughRiders (49-66) 11-2 on Tuesday.

Seth Mejias-Brean singled three times with an RBI and a run for Arkansas.

Down 1-0, the Travelers took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. Casteel hit an RBI single and Nelson Ward hit an RBI double en route to the three-run lead.

Arkansas later scored in three additional innings, including a five-run sixth, when Chuck Taylor hit a two-run single to help punctuate the blowout.

Arkansas right-hander Bryan Evans (1-1) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on five hits over six innings. Opposing starter Ariel Jurado (8-10) took the loss in the Texas League game after a rough outing in which he allowed eight runs and 13 hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Eric Aguilera homered and singled for the RoughRiders.

With the win, Arkansas improved to 5-2 against Frisco this season.

Rancho Cucamonga 5, Modesto (High-A) 2

MODESTO, Calif. – Zach Reks hit a run-scoring single in the third inning, leading the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (65-50) to a 5-2 win over the Modesto Nuts (60-55) on Tuesday.

The single by Reks came in the midst of a three-run inning and gave the Quakes a 2-1 lead. Later in the inning, Omar Estevez hit a sacrifice fly, scoring DJ Peters.

The Quakes later tacked on a run in both the fourth and fifth innings. In the fourth, Brandon Montgomery scored on a single before he hit a sacrifice fly to score Reks in…
