Rigaku Corporation is presenting its diverse range of X-ray analytical instrumentation at the 2017 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) annual meeting and exposition. The event is taking place at the San Diego Center, November 12-15.
AAPS members come from pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacy fields of study or complementary disciplines. The 2017 AAPS Exposition will feature over 100 scientific sessions and 2,200 posters, along with sunrise sessions, short courses, symposia, and workshops on a variety of topics.
Rigaku offers equipment for a diverse range of applications in medicine, biotechnology, pharmacology, and drug discovery, including a complete range of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instruments and components for research, testing, industrial process control, and product development. Rigaku is exhibiting its lines of benchtop X-ray diffraction and wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) spectrometers at Booth # 2619.
Among the instruments on display is the Rigaku Supermini200, the only commercially available benchtop WDXRF spectrometer. It features newly designed and simplified software and an improved footprint, combining all of the advantages of traditional WDXRF elemental analysis systems in a smaller, more economical package.
